How Tours and Passes Get Tested
Every tour, attraction pass, or hop-on-hop-off route covered on this site was booked on my own card and tested on my own schedule. Not on a press trip, not with comps. I run the same itinerary a regular visitor would run, note queue times, check whether the pass actually saved money against individual entry prices, and log which guides knew the city well enough to answer follow-up questions.
If a pass does not break even, I write that down. If a tour spent forty minutes at a gift shop, that goes in the notes. The misses are as much a part of the record as the wins.
Using What I Publish
Treat what I write as notes from someone who was there, for whatever that is worth. Not a travel agent's pitch, not a checklist you have to follow. The same tour runs differently on a Tuesday in November than on a Saturday in July. Use the notes as a starting point, not a guarantee.
Affiliate Relationships
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. Book through one, I get a small cut, your price stays the same. The commission does not change which tours end up in the notes. If a day-trip wasted my afternoon, the review says so, paid placement or not.
