Our Testing Approach

A note on how I decide what to recommend. I try it first. Not for a weekend — for long enough that the initial excitement wears off and I can see what the product actually does in a normal week. If something disappoints me, I say so. If it surprises me, I say that too. The goal is a review you'd get from a friend who happens to have tried it.

Using What We Publish

Treat what I write as 'here's what happened to me, for whatever it's worth' — because that's what it is. I'm not trying to sell you a method or convert you to a product. I'm just sharing honestly. Adapt it, reject it, improve it. That's what readers of good personal writing have always done.
