About Jaunt Post

I started doing this as a side hustle in 2018. I was already traveling for editorial photography assignments in cities I did not know, and I started buying the same guided tours and attraction passes that my clients were recommending to their readers. Most of them were fine. A few were great. Some of them wasted my afternoon, and I took notes on why.

By 2022 I was doing this full-time. Thirty-two cities across the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia at this point. The notes turned into the site. Every tour or pass covered here was booked on my own card, tested on my own schedule, and measured against what it actually cost to see the same thing without it. Queue times, break-even math, which days to skip, which guides actually knew the city. Not a travel agent's pitch. Just the notes.

Drew Pendergast is the person behind it. More on that on the author page.

A few links on this site are affiliate links. Book through one, I get a small kickback, your price stays the same. It does not change my notes on which days were worth it and which were a waste of an afternoon.
